NCAA Hockey- Sacred Heart University at Army
Maurice Alvarez scored a third-period goal and Army killed off a Sacred Heart five-minute power play as the Black Knights posted a 3-2 win, Friday night in an Atlantic Hockey Association game at Tate Rink. Thane Heller had a goal and assist and Andy Starczewski was credited with two assists as Army halted a two-game losing streak and improved to 3-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in league games. Zak Zaremba also scored for Army while John Clark, Mac Lalor and Willie Faust posted assists to help the Black Knights win the season series with Sacred Heart, 2-0-1. Army goalie Rob Tadazak made 18 saves in a period and eight minutes before he was injured. Ryan Leets played the final 33 minutes and registered seven saves and his second win of the season.
